Sustainable Getaway

Escape to a sustainable getaway at our high-end residential project that includes a main house, guest house and garage.  Each building is heated and cooled by a geothermal system that is hidden within the landscape.

The system has no outdoor mechanical equipment, which means no noise or concerns with durability in the elements (including corrosion from the salt air). The system operates with 50% lower operating costs when compared with a conventional HVAC system.

The house also contains a 20 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system, which generates electricity for the house year round. This system is used to offset the electricity consumption of all three buildings in order to try and achieve “Net Zero Energy”. After all rebates and SREC’s are taken into account, the system has a simple payback of ~5 years and an annual ROI of over 10%.
