Whale Fall

This project was a revival of an original Steven Holl designed building. The building had lofty goals for comfort and efficiency, which culminated in becoming a LEED certified building. The project included air source heat pump technology connected to ducted air handlers for heating and cooling. Steam humidifiers and ducted dehumidifiers are used to maintain adequate relative humidity throughout the building.  The building is ventilated with inline fans and Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) technology.
